I Woke Up Like This: Overnight skin care

Lets be honest, sometimes we wake up and embody Beyonce’s famous line “I woke up like this.” Other mornings, we need a bit of assistance in getting ourselves ready for the day. That is exactly why I have been trying to get a head start on my beauty routine the night before so that I don’t have too much to worry about in the morning. I will be perfectly honest with you, I am far from a morning person, but when you wake up with skin that’s fresh glowing and ready to go, it make your morning that much Because of my night time beauty kick I have been on a non-stop search to find the perfect night time products. My latest obsession has been these Sephora Favorites boxes, I think I have tried almost every single one they have released. Order them fast though, they are usually limited edition and they do not bring many of them back. I recently purchased the Beauty Sleep box to test out a few new night time products (no they did not send me this for free to try…I see it I want it, I grin ’til I own it… you get the gist).

I really like the Sephora Favorites line, you get to try some really nice products and see if you like them before splurging on the, usually expensive, full-size product. Here are my favorites from this this Beauty Sleep box  that made me want to say “I woke up like this.”

Sephora Pearl Sleeping Mask – This one is all about texture for me it was almost like a gel mask. It smells amazing and made my skin feel super soft. Over time this mask promises to even and brighten skin tone. I think I may end up getting a few more of these.

Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm – This is a balm-oil hybrid and I was not so sure about this the first time I tried it, but now I love it.

Blue Moon Tranquility Cleansing Balm – I love this balm for makeup removal when you really need that extra umph. It starts almost waxy in texture but when you add a bit of water it gets a milky oil texture and leaves my skin feeling super clean and hydrated because of all the oils. Did I mention this has German Chamomile and sweet orange essential oil (I love orange oils, blossoms, peals, all that more on my orange peel obsessions later).Korres Wild Rose +Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial – This mask definitely helped with dullness, and I loved how hydrated and bright my skin looked the next morning, but as much as I love anything rose scented I think the smell was a little too strong for me.
