My Favorite SPF For The Body

Whether you’re out jogging at dawn or simply grabbing lunch out on your balcony or porch, body SPF is a must. Hopefully you are practicing safe sun and social distancing no matter where you are. SPF for the body doesn’t have to be a thick white cream, it can still feel and look good all while protecting you from the number one aging factor. There are now so many good choices out there here are some of my current favorite SPF products with some bonus items thrown in.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 100 – This one was introduced to me by TikTok. Apparently J. Lo’s makeup artist uses this on her body to give that amazing glow, and it is really that good. The bottle has a cool handle to dispense very very thin mist. You can use it upside down so getting those hard to reach places is no longer an issue. Goes on almost dry. Makes you glow and protects the skin. Pro tip, use this on legs and décolletage for that extra glow. ($10-$15)

Pacifica Mineral sunscreen with coconut and probiotics SPF 30 – I got badly burned in Miami one year from using a very well known drugstore brand of spray sport SPF 50. Ever since then I have done research and found this really good SPF. I usually find it at Target and it is on the higher end in terms of price point, but the bottle is huge and it has probiotics for the skin. This sunscreen actually feels good and smells incredible. Leaves a bit of a white casr but for high sun situations its great ($16).

MelanoBoost – Melanin boosting duo, these are not SPF oils. These are peptide tanning oils, and they will get you dark fast. The orange one has self tanning properties, the yellow one is for outdoor tanning. These make my skin look incredible and they smell like the beach. Remember to layer SPF on top of these to practice safe sun. ($77 for two bottles)

Sun Bum – Very similar to Pacifica, smells great, definitely a bit of a white cast that goes away when rubbed in. Really liking this one. ($18)
