SPF is my current favorite product. If you are completely new to skincare I would say a good cleanser and SPF are a must. SPF is the number one thing that can prevent signs of aging so I would just start somewhere and see what you like. Here are some that are in my daily routine:

Best OverallPurito – SPF 50, easy ordering, I get mine off amazon. Some Korean stores may have it, just look in their skincare section.  If you are not into wearing SPF, this one is for you. No white cast, not joking, the cream is gel like which gives an amazing texture and goes on super smooth, easy application. On minimal days I just use this and my skin looks amazing because this has hyaluronic acid and it gives a slight glow. It also has calming benefits and protects against SPF better than most SPFs you get from Sephora. This is a chemical sunscreen. ($13-$16 depending where you get it from)

Drugstore FavoriteCerve Moisturizing lotion with SPF – Both a drugstore and a TikTok favorite, this lotion is great and has niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. If you’re just starting out with skincare give this one a try you will not be disappointed. This is a physical sunscreen. ($14)

Under makeupGoop Unseen Suncreen SPF 40 – Feels and goes on like a makeup primer. Add foundation or concealer or just wear alone. I love this in my T-zone where I tend to get more oily. This is amazing, reef-safe, and one of the better chemical sunscreens. ($17-$34 depending on what size you get)

Acne prone skinDermalogica Clearing Defense SPF 30 – I use this one when my skin is a bit more acne prone, especially around my period. Its filled with Antioxidants, Green tea extract and a little bit of Vitamin C help protect the skin against pollution. You can’t go wrong with this brand, always clean and I am always pleased with their products. This is the most white out of the SPF’s but it goes clear pretty quickly so its still a win. ($28)

I use this all the time on literal no makeup days, add some to your usual highlight spots and tap in, and it looks so good. Just be careful around your clothes. This is a chemical SPF, reef-safe and portable. Mine has lasted forever! ($25)
