Wishlist: June 2018

Summer is here and finally the weather in Chicago has been a bit more stable and sunny. Since my ideal temperature is low 90’s, and  Chicago is pretty much winter 8 months out of the year, I really make sure to take advantage of the warm weather as much as I can. Summer is also my favorite shopping season, so many products to battle the heat, and so many bikinis and cute outfits. Here are a few of the items currently in my cart:

Skincare

Asarai Response Theory Serum – with Chamomile and Oat extracts this looks like a very promising calming and protective serum. Plus their packaging is super cute and summery!

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser and Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner – I was so happy to find out that this brand is now available in Sephora. I loved using the Swiss Apple Serum so I am excited to try these two new products. 

Deciem The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion – I have been wanting to try Deciem for a while now. As much drama as their company may be going through, they stand by these products and many celebrities swear by them. Considering that some of these serums cost a fraction of what some other brands are selling them for, I think these are a no brainer. I also love the apothecary look of the bottles and rumor has it they recently left Sephora to go to Ulta, so if you’re looking to grab some try their site, or just stay tuned to see when they will be launching at Ulta.

Rodial Pink Diamond Instant Lifting Mask – Rumor has it Meghan Markle used this mask before her wedding. I am new to this brand and would love to try some of their products. The Banana Lowlighter also looks like an amazing complexion enhancer and a must try. 

Makeup 

Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra Long Wear Concealer – Saw this one on instagram and I have heard that it really does cover things seamlessly. Considering that I have pretty much only wearing good concealer these days (and no foundation) I think it may be time for me to invest into a good concealer.

Le Correcteur de Chanel Concealer – This is the more pricey version of the Laura Mercier Concealer I mentioned above. Can you really ever go wrong with a Chanel product?

Mac Prep + Prime Fix + Shimmer in GoldLite – I have the original setting spray and have been wanting to try the scented ones, and this one deposits a light shimmer on the face. Perfect refresher for the summer and an amazing mist for under foundation for flawless application. Anytime I use this pray my makeup does not move even in hot weather. 

Clothing

Frankies Bikinis Neon Collection (dropping June 15th) – these gorgeous neon colored bikinis are not even on their site yet, but check out their instagram @Frankiesbikinis

My style is very sporty chic, lots of leggings and street shoes with cute tops and sweatshirts so I tend to stock up on those items first, and then shop for everything else. I absolutely love Yeezy’s Season 6 pieces and anytime I can find good dupes I tend to buy them. These pieces from Pretty Little Thing are just the thing to get me through my Yeezy obsession without breaking the bank. They tend to sell out fast, especially the biker shorts that all the Kardashians are wearing, but they add new adorable things every day so be sure to keep an eye out for lots of other super cute pieces.

For The Home

Please remove your Yeezy’s doormat – One of my friends has this and I just had to find something similar. Thank god for Etsy! This one is awesome and makes a great gift for those who are also sneaker obsessed.  

I know this OUAI perfume is sold out, but I really hope they make more, these scents are incredible!
